We’re excited to launch brand new regions and tours in 2026, expanding the Softies collection to even more fantastic destinations. From new island adventures to exciting vineyard escapes, we’re sure these holidays are going to be a hit with Softies.
Algarve
Portugal’s famed golden coast, the Algarve has everything you need for a cycling escape. It boasts some of the best weather in Europe thanks to the bountiful sunshine and refreshing winds.
We’re excited to launch three new tours in this region, exploring the scenic west, golden southern coast, and authentic eastern parts of the Algarve. These adventures are a feast not only for the eyes, with sprawling markets and the freshest seafood in Europe.
Lanzarote
Our new southernmost region, Lanzarote is the definition of sun and sea. Blessed by almost unlimited sunshine, this volcanic island is the perfect escape for those chasing the sun.
On our Volcanoes and Vineyards tour, explore what makes this island so unique. Fascinating vineyards, lava fields, and the cerulean blue ocean are constant sights when cycling here.
Danube
The Danube is fast becoming Europe’s premier cycling destination, thanks to the brilliant cycle infrastructure along the river. From Germany to Hungary, you can cycle to beautiful cities that lie along the banks.
This year we’ve launched four new Danube tours; a mix of bike and boat and self guided adventures. There’s no better way to immerse yourself in the Austrian, Slovakian, and Hungarian cultures than by pedalling between elegant cities.
Andalucia
A region of sunshine, glistening coasts, Moorish architecture, and vibrant tapas scenes, Andalucia is a natural choice for a Softies holiday. Enjoy mornings spent cycling along orange groves, afternoons having a siesta at your boutique accommodation, and evenings in tapas bars.
2026 enjoys two new tours in this region, exploring the western cities like Seville as well as the shining Costa de la Luz. The fantastic weather and warm culture make Andalucia hard to beat for a cycling escape.
Piedmont
One of the most undiscovered regions of northern Italy, Piedmont has so much to offer. Quiet villages and elegant towns hide some of the most delicious food you’ll experience. Utilising the rich foraging of the land, expect hazelnuts and truffles that burst with flavour in every dish they grace their presence with.
Our new Vineyards of Piedmont tour is a celebration of the fantastic wines made here. There are many varieties but our hearts lie with the delicious bottles of Barolo; make sure you take a few home for friends and family when you explore this region on a cycling tour.
Douro Valley
We love the Douro Valley and have been cycling here for many years. However, our newest tour takes a more indulgent turn than you’d expect. Douro in Luxury is all about experiencing the culture and wines that the Valley is famed for whilst also staying in luxurious hotels.
Whether it’s an exclusive rural retreat, an elegant riverside hotel, or a spa resort, you’ll be able to fully savour the journey and unwind in style on this tour.
Sicily
Sicily has one of the most fascinating histories in Europe. Greek, Roman, Norman, Arabic, and Spanish influences all played a part in the culture, architecture, and – most importantly – the food.
Our new Charming Sicily tour explores the southeastern part of the island, ending in the ancient city of Siracusa where the old Greek temples and amphitheatres can still be seen today.
Holland
The Netherlands is synonymous with brilliant cycling. Almost completely flat, the Dutch have made good use of the land by building fantastic cycle infrastructure; you can cycle almost anywhere here.
Our two new tours in Holland are bike and boat adventures like no other, staying on a premium barge and exploring the Dutch countryside by day. From tulip fields to old canal cities, there’s so much to see.
Minho Valley
A lesser-known wine region of Portugal, the Minho Valley is fast becoming the favourite of wine enthusiasts, especially those who prefer a lighter, crisp glass of white. In the region, experience the delicious Vinho Verde wines that are zesty and ever so slightly sparkling.
Our new Vineyards of the Minho Valley tour is perfect for those who love wine and history equally; you’ll explore one of the oldest regions in Portugal and taste exquisite wines along the way.
Puglia
A region known and loved by Softies, we’ve launched two brand new tours for 2026. Taking advantage of rural lanes and coastal routes, you’ll get to experience what makes this region so authentic and beautiful.
Whether you’re pedalling past the iconic Trulli houses or tasting a glass of delicious Primitivo wine, Puglia is sure to enchant you when on an escape here.
Dordogne
The Dordogne River hides some of France’s most breathtaking towns and enigmatic forests. Clifftop castles, vibrant markets, and truffle-filled woods are around every corner when cycling here.
Our new Castles & Caves of the Dordogne tour takes you on an adventure back in time. You’ll feel as if you’re pedalling through Medieval France, eating delicious food and even more delicious wine.
Tuscany
A classic Softies region sees two exciting new tours for 2026. The famed Tuscan hills create one of the most romantic landscapes in Europe, and a cycling tour here on a trusty e-bike means you’ll be fully immersed in the views.
On our new tours, cycle from the Renaissance city of Pisa to elegant Florence, and explore the rural charm of the south of the region.
